DASCA practices stringent policies that not only help maintain the sanctity and credibility of its internationally renowned examinations, but also ensure that a fair, objective and empathetic approach is pursued while evaluating applicants' fitness for award of the credentials. These policies can be read in detail in the DASCA Registrant Handbook, and some of the most important policy areas for examinees to make note of are mentioned below.
In the event that examinees fail their first (1st) attempt to pass their DASCA Certification examination, they will be required to pay a nominal fee of USD 50 through their myDASCA account to reappear for the exam. Please note that the examinee can apply to reappear right after their examination result gets published.
If an examinee voluntarily cancels the scheduled examination appointment, he/she can immediately reapply from the myDASCA dashboard by paying a nominal fee of USD 50.
DASCA has a ‘zero–tolerance’ policy for misconduct or adoption of unfair means. During the examination, the test manager (or proctor) reserves the right to dismiss an examinee from the exam session for any of the following reasons:
Please be informed that DASCA is authorized to take legal action against anybody who violates copyright laws such as reproducing and distributing examination content or materials. The questions, the exam form, and all exam-related materials have copyrights and are legal property of DASCA.
Any communication – verbal, written, or electronic – made by an examinee and deemed to be against the examination policies is strictly prohibited. Any such act will invite stringent penal action.
Candidacy Reconsideration Form
Examinees seeking to dispute any DASCA action or decision against their candidacy may download and fill up the Exam Candidacy Reconsideration Request Form and send it to email@example.com for initiating process and action.
Examinees who miss a scheduled exam because of emergencies should directly contact DASCA to report matter.
The following reasons for missing out on or not showing up for a scheduled DASCA Certification examination have been defined as genuine and are granted retake permission if requested:
Examinees who miss out on their scheduled DASCA exam for any of the above-mentioned reasons are required to contact DASCA and request for a retake by submitting proof of the emergency encountered e.g. doctor or hospital note.
Please note that the certification fee is non-refundable. However, if the case is not listed under our no-show policies, an additional fee of USD 50 will be charged to reapply. The examination can be scheduled from the myDASCA dashboard.
The submission of an application indicates your agreement to comply with the terms of the audit process. All applications are subject to an audit, although only a percentage of applications are actually selected for audit. The selection of an application for audit is random. If your application is audited, you may be required to submit official documents of your required professional work experience and/or educational degrees. The electronic audit notification provides detailed information on how to comply with the terms of the audit.
SAFs are not available for examinees taking real-time proctored exams in the private mode.
DASCA regularly monitors the performance of all its exams to ensure the validity of exam results and uses advanced statistical analytical algorithms to calculate the examinee’s test score. The examinee must score 65% or higher in order to pass the exam. The result will be made available for viewing on the examinee’s myDASCA account on the official DASCA website within 96 business hours of appearing in the exam.
If you have registered for any DASCA certification program, you can schedule your exam any time within 180 days from the date of fee payment. If you wish to reschedule your exam, you must log in to your myDASCA account 72 hours prior to your scheduled examination. You are not allowed to reschedule the exam less than 72 hours prior to your appointment. If you are not able to take the exam, you are required to pay a nominal fee of USD 50 through your myDASCA account in order to reappear for the exam.
