DASCA offers two levels of global certification programs in the Big Data Engineer Track: The Associate Big Data Engineer (ABDE™) Credential and the Senior Big Data Engineer (SBDE™) Credential. The Associate Big Data Engineer (ABDE™) Credential is intended for graduating tech–school engineering students getting ready to start their careers in software engineering in the Big Data industry. The Senior Big Data Engineer (SBDE™) Credential, on the other hand, is designed for experienced programmers and software engineers who want to move into the Big Data space or wish to grow faster in their careers. The ABDE™ and SBDE™ Credentials are awarded to applicants who have successfully passed the DASCA online examinations for these certifications, configured around the DASCA Essential Knowledge Framework™. These examinations are managed and delivered entirely by DASCA across 180+ countries.
